Winter season slowly comes to an end and this means many drivers want to reach last few points to improve their position. Interesting fights aren´t unusual because of that. Mibosport Cup ⓠmost popular series in Czech Republic with international participation, could not be an exception.
Over 180 competitors came to the last encounter to Hrotovice. Traditionally, Buggy 2WD had the biggest number of participators on starting grid. Even 60 that day. Another main classes like Stock, Modified and Buggy 4WD reached about 30 cars each. The minority consisting from 2WD onroad cars had one full group in each class. Unfortunately Ronald Volker, who should be a special guest for the final race, had to change his plans and race elsewhere.
Anyway we could be still looking forward to well organized competition, great pits and breath-taking fights lasting to the last lap. And I should mention one more change â“ Vašek Strupek changed Pavel Magda on the moderatorâ™s position. Andâ¦.. it actually fitted him very well.

And how about the results?
1/12: Even though this class is still not as popular as it could be, it was nice to watch. The plot was always similar. Daniel Rossenmayer was close behind Kuba Šimurda for four minutes. Then Kuba was forced to stop because of electronic issues and Daniel became first. Second place came to Igor Lipták and Manfred Rasch finished third.

Modified: Mario Sowka, Jirka VyšĂn and Kuba Ĺ imurda. This was the threesome to win. Despite his rocket best lap Mario was not able to close up Jirka and Kuba. So they could fight together. Jirka tried really hard, but without any result. The victory came to Kuba. Lucky but unlucky. This is how could I describe Ladislav Lebánek´s performance in finals. His pace was awesome. It´s a pity it was not awarded with TOP3 position, but with 4th. Dominic Vogl completed the TOP5.

2WD Buggy: The most popular class included ⓠMichal Orlowski ⓠyoung talent from Poland, on its start. He didn´t give a chance to anyone from the very beginning and took victory. Second place came to Kája Novotný, who finished in front of Radek Flek. Fourth position remained for Max Hauenschild and Roland Hauleitner finished fifth.
4WD Buggy: Kája Novotný and Michal Orlowski changed their parts. This time Kája had TQ and also won overall. Michal finished second and Max Hauenschild third. Marcel Rekettye became fourth and another Czech Marek Schiller was fifth.
